What happens to my data on Free

Nothing gets deleted

Whether your trial ends, you cancel, or you get a refund, moving to Free never deletes anything. Every habit, routine, check-in, note, and Circle stays in your account.

What changes over the limits

Free includes 5 active habits, 1 routine (up to 6 steps), 30 days of history, 3 days of backfill, 1 reminder per habit, 1 streak freeze per month, and 1 Circle. If you are over a limit when you move to Free:

• Habits: the 5 most recently completed stay active. The rest are paused: visible, read-only, and one tap from coming back when you archive something or upgrade.
• Routines: extra routines become read-only.
• History: anything older than 30 days is kept but hidden behind Pro. Upgrade and it is all there, streaks included.
• Circles: Circles beyond the first become read-only. You still see them; you cannot post or react.
• Reminders: extra reminders on a habit stop firing; the first one keeps going.
• Themes, embeds, vacation mode, tags, and custom day-start switch off.

What never changes

• You can check in on any active habit. A paywall never blocks a check-in.
• You can view everything you logged inside the Free window.
• Export is free on every plan, always.
• Your streaks keep counting for active habits.

Getting room back without paying

Archive a habit or routine you no longer use and a paused one can take its place. Archived items keep their history and their streak number, labeled Archived.
