Terms of Service

The plain-language rules for using SweepTech, covering subscriptions, the free trial, cancellation, refunds, your data, and how to reach us.

Last updated · Version 2026-10-10

The short version

Nobody reads terms, so here is the gist. The full text below is what counts.

  • SweepTech is run by FB&GB Partners. It is subscription software: a habit and routine tracking app. The core is free. Pro is paid.
  • You need to be at least 16 to use it.
  • Pro renews automatically until you cancel. Canceling takes two clicks, and you keep Pro until the end of what you paid for.
  • Any Pro purchase can be refunded in full within 30 days, no questions asked. Lifetime included.
  • Your data is yours. Export is free on every plan, and you can delete your account at any time.
  • Be kind in Circles. Report or block anyone who is not.
  • SweepTech is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, health, or therapeutic advice.
  • These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Who we are and what SweepTech is

These terms are an agreement between you and FB&GB Partners, established in London, United Kingdom, which operates SweepTech at sweeptech.app ("we", "us"). By creating an account, starting a guest session, or using the service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use SweepTech.

SweepTech is subscription software: a habit and routine tracking app. You can log habits, build routines, keep streaks, and share progress with small private groups called Circles. The free plan covers the core. SweepTech Pro adds more room and more streak protection. The features and limits of each plan are listed on the pricing page.

Who can use SweepTech

You must be at least 16 years old. We do not knowingly allow accounts for anyone younger, and we remove them when we find out. By using the service you confirm that you meet this age requirement and that you are able to enter a binding agreement where you live.

Your account

Guest accounts. You can start without signing up. A guest session lives on the device and browser where you created it. If you clear your browser data or lose the device before saving your progress, that data is gone and we cannot restore it.

Saving your progress. When you sign up with an email link, Google, or Apple, everything from your guest session merges into your new account. Nothing is lost in the merge, and you can then sign in on other devices.

Keeping it yours. You are responsible for what happens under your account and for keeping your sign-in method secure. One person, one account. Tell us at support@sweeptech.app if you think someone else has access.

Acceptable use

Most of SweepTech is private to you. Circles are the one place other people see your activity, so a few rules apply there and everywhere else:

  • Treat other members with respect. No harassment, threats, hate, or sexual content.
  • Do not impersonate anyone, and do not create a Circle to target someone.
  • Do not use SweepTech to store or share anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to share.
  • Do not scrape the service, probe its security, send spam through invites or nudges, or try to work around plan limits.
  • Do not resell access or use the service to build a competing product.

If someone in a Circle makes you uncomfortable, you can report or block them from the member list, mute the Circle, or leave it. Reports go to a human. We may remove content, remove members, or close accounts that break these rules, with notice where we reasonably can.

SweepTech Pro subscriptions

Plans. Pro is available monthly or annually (both renew automatically), or as a one-time Lifetime purchase. Payments are handled by Stripe. The charge appears as SWEEPTECH.APP on your statement.

Prices and taxes. The price of your plan is shown at checkout in your local currency before you pay. Depending on where you live, tax is either included in that price or added and shown before you confirm. Your receipt comes from Stripe.

Renewal. Monthly and annual plans renew at the end of each period at the then-current price until you cancel. We email you 7 days before an annual renewal. If we change a price, we tell you at least 30 days before it applies to you, and you can cancel before then.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Stripe retries for up to 14 days and we email you each time. If it still fails, the subscription ends and your account moves to Free. Nothing is deleted.

Lifetime. Lifetime is a single payment for Pro on your account for as long as we offer SweepTech Pro. It is tied to your account and cannot be transferred or resold.

Promotion codes. Codes are applied at checkout. Each code has its own conditions, which Stripe shows before you pay.

Free trial

Every new account gets 14 days of Pro at no cost and without a card. We send one reminder on day 12. On day 14 the account moves to Free automatically. Nothing is charged and nothing is deleted. If you are over a Free limit when the trial ends, the extra habits and routines become read-only until you archive something or upgrade. Check-ins, viewing, and export are never blocked.

Cancellation

You can cancel at any time, in two clicks: open /app/billing (You → Billing), tap Cancel, then confirm. You can also cancel through the Stripe billing portal from the same page. You keep Pro until the end of the period you have paid for, then move to Free. Your data stays. If you change your mind before the period ends, you can resume from the same page. Lifetime has nothing to cancel.

Refunds

Any Pro purchase, including Lifetime and renewals, can be refunded in full within 30 days of payment, no questions asked. Request it with the Request refund button on /app/billing, or email billing@sweeptech.app from the address on your account. The full amount goes back to your original payment method and Pro ends immediately. The details are on the refund policy page.

Your data: export and deletion

Your habits, routines, check-ins, notes, and moods are yours. You can download all of it as a ZIP of CSV and JSON files at any time from You → Settings → Export my data, on every plan, for free. You can delete your account from You → Settings → Delete my account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: it cancels any subscription and removes your SweepTech data. Your sign-in is shared with other apps that use the same login service (see the privacy policy), so if you use the same email in one of them, the login itself stays for that app. If a payment is still inside the 30-day refund window, request the refund before you delete. We never put check-ins, viewing, or export behind a paywall.

Intellectual property

We own SweepTech: the software, design, name, logo, templates, guides, and written copy. You may use them only as part of using the service. You own the content you add: habit names, notes, and anything else you type. You give us permission to store, process, and display that content so the service works, including showing shared habits to the Circles you choose. That permission ends when the content or your account is deleted, except as described in our privacy policy. If you send us feedback, we may use it without owing you anything.

Disclaimer

SweepTech is a productivity tool and does not provide medical, health, or therapeutic advice. The habits you track, the streaks you keep, and the moods you log are your own records. Nothing in the app, the templates, or the guides is a substitute for advice from a qualified professional.

The service is provided as is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we exclude all implied warranties.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses, or for lost data where you had the chance to export it. Our total liability to you for all claims connected with the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or your rights as a consumer.

Ending or changing the service

You can stop using SweepTech at any time by deleting your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, with notice where we reasonably can. We may change, add, or remove features. If we ever close the service, we will tell you at least 30 days ahead so you can export your data, and we will refund any prepaid period you cannot use.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For changes that matter, we email you and show a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use SweepTech after that means you accept the new terms. We record the date and version you accepted. The version date is at the top of this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes are handled by the courts of England and Wales. If you are a consumer, nothing in this section takes away protections you have under the laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
